2017: Where It All Began
I graduated high school and got my hands on my first camera, a Nikon D3400 (pretty sure they don’t even make those anymore). I started out photographing nature and landscapes because I loved traveling to the mountains and found beauty in everything—flowers, trees, you name it. I didn’t really know much about editing or photography back then, but snapping pictures made me feel like I was actually good at something.

I eventually started practicing portraits with my 50mm lens and, honestly, I wasn’t too bad at it 😂. Then college came around, and I only picked up my camera when I was traveling.

2021: The Comeback
After graduating college, I dusted off my camera and decided it was time to start asking people to be my guinea pigs. One day, it just hit me—I missed photography so much and needed to make it my career. Capturing beautiful places and special moments between people made me so happy.

So, I started asking friends, family, and anyone who’d let me if they wanted their photos taken. Before I knew it, I was booking actual shoots! I had no clue how to run a business, and I figured I’d only be able to do the occasional shoot while working another job. It was tough because I wasn’t doing what I truly loved.

2022/2023: Making the Dream a Reality
Once I finally started going after what I wanted, I found myself. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been because I turned my dream into reality. In 2022/2023, I started booking weddings and second shooting with some incredible photographers. Now, I feel unstoppable!

I absolutely love everything about this job—capturing the special moments on wedding and elopement days, the details like dresses, jewelry, flowers, and venues, and the connections between couples. I’m all about finding new locations to shoot, so if you need help picking a spot, I’m ALWAYS happy to help!
